More Father's Day yummies coming your way!
What dad doesn't like chicken wings? It's one of our dad's go-tos.
These Easy Five Spice Chicken Wings are super easy to whip up and have a unique flavor with the Chinese five spice powder.
They are perfect for any Father's Day celebration you have planned.
Five-spice powder is an aromatic combination of cinnamon, star anise, cloves, fennel, and pepper. It's a pantry staple for me because it is so simple to throw on chicken and makes an easy weeknight dinner.
It also works on pork, seafood, beef stew, and stir-fries. I've even seen it used on bacon.
In Hawaii, they put a shaker on the table so it can be sprinkled on everything.
Trust me, put it on your cooking bucket list.
How Can I Use Chinese Five Spice Powder?
Try it on...
- chicken breast
- fish
- French fries
- sweet potatoes
- beef
- chicken soup
- rice
- spiced nuts
- stir-fries
Make sure you get wings and drumettes from your butcher. The drumettes have more meat on them and taste better in my opinion.
And for Pete's sake, buy them already cut! If you want to be adventurous and trim your own here's directions from Popsugar but don't say I didn't warn you.
